The Washing Line

What works best

Everyone who is waiting for this baby, pegged up on the washing line. Add up to sixteen photos and each one is printed on a little babygrow, hung by two wooden pegs beside the socks and bibs, swaying in the breeze as the camera tracks along the line. Your own photo goes up last, at the front, and the whole garden — three lines heavy with everybody — is the closing card. The baby's name and the due date are both optional, and nothing here asks whether it is a boy or a girl.
