What works best
A glass jar under a lamp, filled one thing at a time for the baby to open in eighteen years: the guests' wishes written by hand and folded in, their photos as Polaroids, a newspaper dated the due date, a tiny sock, a pressed daisy and a coin. Then the lid screws on, a ribbon is tied and the tag is written: DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 2045. The due date sets the year; without it the tag says your 18th birthday. The baby's name is optional and nothing here asks whether it is a boy or a girl.
Free to make. Most cards are ready in a couple of minutes.
