What works best
A dark house, an empty step, and a shrine being built on it: the carved arch, the toran, the banana stems, the offerings one by one. Then a conch, and Bappa comes home — the murti rises into the throne, the brass lamps flare, a garland comes down over it and the aarti lamp circles in front. Add photos of the family and they hang along the arch as little brass medallions. The aarti holds while the lamp circles, then it ends on Ganpati Bappa Morya with your name on the step.
