Clean Sweep

What works best

The week before Diwali, as a cartoon: a doll's-house cutaway scrubs itself clean one gag at a time — cobwebs, the broom, the fan, the shoes, the crooked picture — then the lights, the toran and the diyas arrive and the whole house turns to warm night. Add up to two photos for the frames on the wall. Fill in a time and the last card becomes a party invitation instead of a greeting.
